I received my Masters degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 1993, and have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 1997. I have advanced training in EMDR, followed by 3 years of further practice and study with Laurel Parnell. I am also a certified Nia teacher, a sensory-based mind-body-spirit practice.

I have always felt naturally aligned with and faithful to the inner life. From my earliest years, I worked with dreams, journaling, the natural world and creative expression as guides and anchors to navigate my life. In addition to my academic studies, I have been a curious and exuberant student of life, actively seeking to learn through experience. I have spent much of my adult life traveling and immersing myself in diverse cultures, spiritual study and practices, and conscious embodiment practices.

I lived in and was nourished by Montana the first half of my life and in California since my mid-20’s. Relationships, family, and community are foundational and where I thrive. I have been married since 1989 and am a mother of two children since 2000.
